USA drops CONCACAF Nations League roster & Cristiano Ronaldo retires from Portugal

Alexi Lalas and David Mosse are back with a LIVE episode of State of the Union! We begin the show reacting to the USA’s latest roster drop for the upcoming CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals vs Haiti. Which of the young stars that were called do we think will get game time, who do we think will be starting in goal, what should we expect from Christian Pulisic in his national team return and more. After, Alexi and Mosse discuss Cristiano Ronaldo officially retiring from international play and what his legacy with Portugal is after leaving under such strange circumstances. Next, we recap all the action from the UCL this week including Manchester United’s comeback vs Roma, Lamine Yamal making history in Barcelona’s win over Aston Villa, and Bayern Munich toppling Atletico Madrid. Next we preview Decision Day in MLS and all the chaos in store in the Western Conference. We then go to #AskAlexi where Alexi reps his alma mater and talks what kind of attributes he likes in a goalie. We end the show with One for the Road paying our respects to Jesús de Miguel.
